Our Story
Blue Ridge Learning was established in 1992 with a mission to help groups build authentic connections. Today, Blue Ridge Learning is part of a family companies that includes Aerial Adventure Technologies, Challenge Towers, and High Gravity Adventures. Each company is built from the idea that challenge changes lives and is stacked with industry professionals committed to growth through challenge and adventure. From our base camp at the Blowing Rock Conference Center in Blowing Rock, North Carolina, we host rich educational programs for schools, corporations, therapeutic groups, and other teams and organizations tapping into a long tradition of experiential and adventure-based education in the North Carolina High Country.
The Blowing Rock Conference Center
Since 2005, the Blowing Rock Conference Center has served as basecamp and outdoor classroom for Blue Ridge Learning. With plenty of indoor and outdoor activity space, the Conference Center is also home to Blue Ridge Discovery, a three-story challenge course featuring a giant swing and dual zip lines. This partnership allows Blue Ridge Learning guests access to overnight lodging meals and so much more all in close proximity to the historic village of Blowing Rock.
